Your history – Our Heritage

With our ETHOS: Striving for Excellence in Knowledge, Pride, Respect, Growth and Unity Black Heritage Today magazine brings a wealth of knowledge and hidden history to the surface for the world to see and acknowledge.

Whilst not ignoring the past the magazine does look more at Heritage rather than slavery and submission, although that era in history has shaped and changed many lives, particularly those who have descended from it.

Recognized as the leading magazine that promotes knowledge of African & Caribbean History. Black Heritage Today addresses issues relevant to the target community; disseminate information about the contribution to society of people of African Heritage; increase confidence and raise the awareness of a relatively hidden history. The magazine and website further highlights and celebrates achievements that may otherwise be ignored by mainstream.

In all, it serves as a platform for information-sharing and critical debate in a style that is cutting-edge and positive.

Along with grass-roots (home grown stories) Black Heritage Today gives coverage to other countries with stories that are relevant to the race as a whole. The features are informative, educational and entertaining for all.

The publishers of the magazine value a rich heritage with strong convictions.
