BHM Magazine : Current Issue 2007
The name Black Heritage Today rather than Black History Month was choosen by the publisher when this magazine was officially launched four years ago, after making its debut in 2000, because for the publisher the magazine was more about the black community's heritage rather than just the history, and that celebrating such a beautiful culture was only for a month. The name Black Heritage reflects hope and posterity for the future and with such a name the publication can be produced more than once a year. The stories and features in the magazine looks at things that have happened and are happening around the world, from Europe to America, the Continent, South Africa and the Caribbean. And profiles people who are making a difference in the community today alongside 'those who paved the way'. Black Heritage is more than just a platform to list events happening throughout the month(s). There are many features to be found in Black Heritage Today Magazine.
