Author, educator and mathematics consultant with a specific remit to work with underachieving black student. In 15 years, Neil has only promoted African culture wearing trading African attire to school.
Mayers has written a number of popular books on astronomy. In 1995, he began to write the “Universe” column for Natural History magazine.
In 2009 Mayers received the Isaac Asimov award from the American Humanist Association at their annual conference, which was held in Tempe, Arizona.
