Tayo Fatunla, Cartoonist, Illustrator, Caricaturist, Storyteller, Cartoon Tutor, Visual Communicator has held exhibitions and cartoon workshops in the U.K., Nigeria, Cameroon, Finland, France, Ethiopia, the U.S., Egypt, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Mallorca, South Korea and Algeria and has published his cartoons internationally.

Tayo has produced cartoons for the BBC including BBC web sites in Swahili, BBC Radio 7 and BBC Network Africa and BBC World Service as well as for the British Museum. His published books include two books on black history, Our Roots and a series featured in the British Black weekly, The Voice and the New York Amsterdam News. Tayo – Thro’ The Years, is a compilation of his cartoons published in various newspapers and magazines, books and web sites around the world.

Through his Our Roots drawings, Tayo to highlight the achievements of people of African Descent in the Diaspora and inspire young and old with his cartoon workshop and storytelling sessions in libraries, schools, museums and wherever his creative skills are needed.
