Alex Pascall O.B.E
Now working nationally and internationally in the field of Creativity in Education, Alex is a Cultural Strategist who provides workshops, talks and lectures. He’s a Playwright, Composer, Performer and Cultural ‘Griot’ with extensive knowledge and experience of Black and Caribbean lifestyle in Britain.
Alex a former Chairman of the Notting HIll Carnival, Presenter and Producer of Britain’s first Black Radio Magazine programme at Black Londoners with the BBC; a radio and television personality who played a pivotal role as ‘Advisor to the BBC on West Indian Affairs’ in the 1980’s, a writer and performer for the successful pre-school BBC TV ‘Teletubbies’ landmark World Series.
In 1996 he was awarded the O.B.E. by Her Majesty for “Services to Community Relations”. He is a celebrated “Member of Honour” of the National Union of Journalists.
