Scotland
Edinburgh and Aberdeen Celebrates
This month long celebration of the contribution made by Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) people to our heritage is a unique opportunity to learn about, discuss and honour the role that BME people have played in shaping Scotland’s history, against a backdrop of racism, inequality and injustice. Edinburgh University Students’ Association (EUSA) run by students, for students is there to help students get the most out of their time at university. EUSA has a host of BHM events to enjoy during this period.
This month encourages every student, irrespective of background and colour to join the conversation on the challenges surrounding Black issues. Events include discussions, film screenings, lectures, open forums, and social nights out. Events are based on reflections, and celebrations of positive Black contributions to British society and beyond.
