A Plethra of Arts and Culture

With an aim to educate, celebrate and highlight the history and culture of those of African and Caribbean descent this exciting plethra of arts and cultural events listed below have been put together by a dedicated multi-cultural team of volunteer.

Creating what is one of the most exciting festivals in the Brighton calendar, celebrating African and Caribbean heritage including; spoken word & literature, dance, film, music, family entertainment and much more. Look out for the Legacy Film Festival which continues with a series of film screenings and events running across the day and the Positive Hair Day project which uses the subject of hair to map the heritage and experiences of the local black and mixed heritage community.

An international photographic exhibition sprang to life against the backdrop of the 2010 football World Cup in Soweto.
